The best part of Halloween? The Halloween snacks, of course! The kids may be in it for the candy, and don’t get me wrong, I love chocolate and caramel too. Adding fall fruit into the mix though makes for an elegant and shareable setup in the form of a Halloween snack board.
How to Create a Halloween Snack BoardYou don’t need much to make this fall-themed dessert board. I started with chocolate-covered apples and pears, my favorite fall treats. They both have a layer of caramel under the chocolate too, and the addition of crushed nuts or extra chocolate drizzle dresses them up for the season!
I also put out some plain sliced apples and Royal Riviera Pears with a side of caramel sauce for dipping. It is apple and pear season, after all, so we might as well make the most of it!
The finishing touch is the Cheesecake Factory Salted Caramel Cheesecake. With layers of chewy blonde brownie, creamy caramel mousse, and savory salted caramel, what’s not to love? I like to add individual slices to the dessert table, rather than a full cheesecake, so it’s easier for everyone to grab a piece to enjoy.
I sprinkled a few extra sea salt flakes on top of the cheesecake for presentation and the extra sweet and salty contrast. Sprinkling more salt on the caramel sauce and setting out a bowl of chocolate chips helps pull all the elements of the board together. Lastly, you won’t want to forget the fall decorations! Little pumpkins and accessories like leaves give the full seasonal effect.
This snack board is the perfect setup to share while watching a scary movie, spending Halloween night in, or hosting a little costume party with family or close friends. You can’t go wrong with adding in one of your favorite pumpkin desserts and a Witch’s Brew Cocktail!
